Using smart card technology, access readers can be located out of sight – even hidden behind brick walls – yet providing secure entry for authorised personnel.
Unlike swipe systems, there is no need to remove your smart card from a wallet or purse to use it. The card is automatically read as soon as you present it to the scanner, typically within ¼ second.
